Sensu means 'folding fan', which are scattered across this small scale gold metallic print, along with flowers and aristocratic carriages, on a black background. A nice contrast to the larger scale Japanese prints and perfect for adding that authentic touch to your Japanese themed project.
 
I used a lot of these kinds of prints in my books 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match' and 'Japanese Quilt Inspirations', and they aren't so easy to find at the moment, so I'm always pleased when I spot another design I love.
