These abstract fabric designs are by Billy Reue, an architect from New York city, and are produced by FreeSpirit (the company behind Kaffe Fassett's and many other stunning fabrics). I love the hand painted/printed look to these fabrics, which would make them great additions to any contemporary or art quilt project, and also make them great coordinates for sashiko for a more modern look.
