Shimmering silver metallic adds a sparkle to this traditional large scale Japanese design of cranes and seasonal flowers against a background design with small areas of seigaiha (ocean wave) clamshells in solid silver (first photo). Silver metallic adds a sophisticated shimmer to these designs - other coordinating fabrics are shown in photos 2 - 5.
 
I used a lot of these kinds of prints in my books 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match' and 'Japanese Quilt Inspirations', and they aren't so easy to find at the moment, so I'm always pleased when I spot another design I love.
