The work of English designer, artist, writer and philosopher William Morris and the company he founded, Morris & Co., were a radical alternative to late nineteenth century designs, and have had a resurgence of popularity from the 1960s onwards. There are many quilt fabric designers who are inspired by Morris & Co. designs, and now they are reworking classics from their archive for FreeSpirit fabrics. Give your projects that Arts and Crafts Movement look with these beautifully coloured fabrics from Morris & Co.

I have also included Barbara Brackman's interpretations of Morris designs for Moda, further extending your choices. These can be combined beautifully with the FreeSpirit prints to give more variety to your patchwork, while staying within the Morris design archive. They also coordinate well with many other Moda fabrics.
