Textiles inspired by antique and vintage Japanese boro pieces have become increasingly popular over the last twenty years or so, and it is easy to make your own. Boro literally means something ragged or worthless! Boro inspired textiles can include old and new fabrics, and sashiko thread is ideal for stitching everything together. Mottainai (don't waste!)
