Shimmering silver metallic adds a sparkle to this traditional Japanese asanoha (hemp leaf) design (first photo) on dark blue. It is a small scale print, suitable for use as a patchwork coordinate - the image makes it look larger than it is in real life. Silver metallic adds a sophisticated shimmer to these designs - other coordinating fabrics are shown in photos 2 - 5. Minna means 'everyone' in Japanese, and these are universally used patterns in Japan.
I used a lot of these kinds of prints in my books 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match' and 'Japanese Quilt Inspirations', and they aren't so easy to find at the moment, so I'm always pleased when I spot another design I love.
