This tonal cream and pale ochre landscape from the Winter's Gleam collection by Canadian landscape artist Douglas Laird for Wilmington Prints is very subtle, and not totally obviously a winter scene. It would work well as a paler colour in a warm taupe patchwork palette.
 
To give an idea of the scale, the first photo shows a detail approx. 8in square while the second photo shows half the width of the fabric. The third photo is the manufacturer's sample photo. The actual colour in real life is somewhere between the two. It is so light, it is quite difficult to photograph and be able to see the design!
