This print from Autumn Gatherings by Jessie Aller for In The Beginning Fabrics has boldly drawn overlapping leaves and veins overlapping in a transparent style, against a creamy beige background with a slight printed weave texture, in persimmon orange and aubergine purple. It would be a striking contrast to more realistically coloured leaves in your patchwork project.
 
It would make an unusual coordinate for sashiko, as well as being ideal for patchwork, dressmaking etc.
