This truly is 'one from the vaults' - my wholesaler has unearthed some treasures that must have been at the back of the warehouse for years! Hence the great discount price that I am passing on directly to YOU!

This sparkling sun print in blue on cream by N.T.T. Inc for Fabric Traditions is reminiscent of C17th engravings. The fabric has a glitter effect which, unlike some glitter fabrics that were all the rage in the early 2000s, doesn't seem to rub off the fabric! This print was made in 2001. I have no more information about it than that, but I LOVE those sun faces. The print would work well for patchwork, dressmaking and other crafting projects where a bit of sparkle is needed. I could see the suns working especially well cut out and used as circle appliques, and I thought about them for cardmaking or Christmas tree decorations, used back to back.

To give an idea of the scale, the first photo shows a detail approx. 8in square while the second photo shows the full width of the fabric.

This fabric makes an interesting coordinate for my sashiko panels, maybe if using the Sashiko Lamé sparkly threads, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads

I don't think it will be around long at this price.
