William Morris and Morris & Co. fabric designs are timeless - more popular now than when they were first released! These recent versions of some of his classic designs are reinterpreted by Barbara Brackman for Moda, and I'm passing my wholesaler's discount straight on to you.
This listing is for the bold 'Iris' pattern from the Morris Muse collection in the twilight colourway (first photo), sold by the half metre. The other photos show other Morris inspired fabrics by Barbara Brackman that arrived at the same time - the colours work very nicely together.
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, these fabrics make an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads.
At the moment William Morris designs are hugely popular in Japan too - my friends at Yuza Sashiko Guild have been interpreting some of these patterns in sashiko!
110cm (43in) wide approx.
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '2' for 1 metre, '3' for 1.5m etc.
