'Distrikt' by Erin McMorris is a contemporary design inspired by shadows in the city on a visit to Copenhagen, in yellow, black and white. Something a bit different, with more than a hint of Pop Art. Printed on patchwork weight cotton, these fabrics make an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
