This novelty print from the London Collection for Rose & Hubble with kitchen utensils on the shelf would lend itself to a short border for a small project, as the 'shelf' goes across the width of the fabric, and would be a fun fabric for reuseable shopping totes.

To give an idea of the scale, the first photo shows a detail approx. 8in square while the second photo shows the pattern half the width of the fabric.

Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an amusing coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads.
