Released in Japan on 21st April 2023 by Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., we have six fabulous new colours in the Kofu Tsumugi range. I hope you like them, because they are colours I asked Olympus to create! Deep blue purple, dark grey, silver grey, reddish grey (a pink), navy grey, and bright purple. They all look stunning together, and compliment other colours in the existing Kofu Tsumugi collection beautifully. They also work very well with the new colours in the 100m medium sashiko thread range.
This listing is for shade 2510 silver grey. This will be a great addition to neutral fabrics for a very modern look for sashiko, patchwork, home dec and clothing. You will be able to shade from 2009 ink black, through 2509 dark grey and into 2510 silver grey while remaining colour neutral. Perfect for stitching sashiko for minimalist modern interiors, where neutral greys are so on trend.
Richly coloured yarn dyed tsumugi cotton fabric from Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., good for sashiko, patchwork, bag making and other projects. The coloured warp and black weft gives this fabric a deep colour, with little slubs to add texture and character. The weave is loose enough to easily stitch sashiko with fine or medium sashiko threads but close enough to be able to do quite fine patchwork piecing. Ideal for wearables, furoshiki wrapping cloths etc.

NB - international shipping* is temporarily disabled. New shipping rates by weight will be coming soon!
*EU shipping can only resume when the EU simplifies its VAT regulations on mail orders. Please complain to your MEP to try to change the regs for small non EU businesses! We can't calculate, charge and remit the different amounts of VAT to all 27 EU countries four times a year, when we are one person businesses. It is too much admin and too expensive to employ an EU based agent as currently required.
