Jason Yenter's 'Halcyon II’ collection for In The Beginning has jewel like colours and beautifully detailed patterns. This graceful border print has multicoloured blooms against intricate dot rosettes on a black background, with the flowers slightly overlapping a narrower ornate border. You get the pattern printed for times across the width of the fabric, parallel to the selvedge, so you can border your quilt or wallhanging beautifully. Each border section is approx 10 1/2in wide, so it would make a real statement as a quilt border. It would also make a lovely 'frame' for one of my printed sashiko panels.The quality of In The Beginning's digital prints is always superb and the bold colours are really gorgeous, with the flowers drawn very delicately.
