If you love Tim Holtz's style, you are going to love Seth Apter's fabrics too - more wonderfully 'grungy' fabrics, with a distressed appearance, making them a great choice for contemporary boro inspired stitching, as well as patchwork, quilting, wearables etc. There's plenty of text in Seth's designs, and I do find text on fabrics irresistable! 'Live Out Loud' is his second collection for FreeSpirit, and it can be mixed and matched with his other collections.

Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
