This beautiful floral collection by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning fabrics, 'Allure', is full of gorgeous prints in blues, purples, greens, and reds. 'The quality of being powerfully and mysteriously attractive or fascinating' is what Jason says he was aiming for with this collection, and he has succeeded. This listing is for 'Purple Shadow Flowers' in the first photo. The other photos show the rest of the collection I've selected for you. The rich digital prints look a little like batiks, but aren't so tightly woven that they are hard to hand sew. As with many of Jason's earlier collections, he has included a stunning border print (last four photos), and these fabrics coordinate well with his previous designs.
The prints have a lush, summer quality to them, with an underlying coolness to the colourways I've chosen. I've included one of the red prints as a contrast.
I will be making up some fat quarter bundles - as soon as possible!
