Jason Yenter's 'Elysian' collection takes it's inspiration from the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology. This print, in shades of luscious purples, has a fabulous swirling triskele pattern made from graded dots. The jewel like colours are digitally printed, so you get all the depth and variation of colour like a batik, but on a fabric base that isn't too tightly woven for hand quilting. It would be great for clothing as well as a patchwork coordinate, or to go with a sashiko panel.
