Medium 6-ply mercerised sashiko thread 40m skein, shade #25 olive green (uguisu-iro (nightingale colour) in Japanese), Daruma brand by Yokota. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching. Use doubled for a bolder effect. Can also be used for big stitch quilting.
This mercerised thread is the same weight as the other 100m 6-ply sashiko thread I sell, but has a different colour range. By selecting between these ranges, you can many subtle colour combinations. This shade is also available in 170m fine sashiko thread, so you can vary the thickness for your project while keeping to exactly the same colour.
Because it is mercerised, it won't 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
