Medium 6-ply mercerised sashiko thread 100m skein, shade #20 black, Daruma brand by Yokota. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching.  Use doubled for a bolder effect. Also excellent for big stitch quilting.
 
This big value mercerised thread is the same weight as the other 100m 6-ply sashiko thread I sell, but has a different colour range. By selecting between these ranges, you can many subtle colour combinations. I also have exactly the same colour in 40m 4-ply fine sashiko thread, so you can vary the thickness for your project while keeping to the same colour.

Because it is mercerised, it won't 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
