Tim Holtz's fabrics have a wonderfully 'grungy', antique, distressed appearance, making them a great choice for contemporary boro inspired stitching, as well as patchwork, quilting, wearables etc. I've been a fan for some time! This directional vintage 'Tape Measures' design in neutral is from his original 'Eclectic Elements - Foundations' collection, and is now reprinted as one of his classic designs. It would look great coordinating with other fabrics designed by Tim across various ranges. One of my favourite Tim Holtz designs, and one that works well instead of a stripe.
