This truly is 'one from the vaults' - Westminster Fibers stopped producing fabric quite a number of years ago. My wholesaler has unearthed some treasures that must have been at the back of the warehouse for years! Hence the great discount price that I am passing on directly to YOU!
This lush, large scale print by Melissa White has quite an early Showa era 1930s Japanese vibe to it, and I think would work brilliantly combined with smaller scale prints as a main feature fabric for patchwork, or as a stand alone print for other sewing projects.
To give an idea of the scale, the first photo shows a detail while the second photo shows half the width of the fabric.
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads.
I don't think it will be around long at this price.
111cm (44in) wide.
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '2' for 1 metre, '3' for 1.5m etc.
