This is a subtle ombre plaid cotton fabric from Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., excellent for sashiko, patchwork, bag making and other projects. Part of the Sakizome Momen range (colours are inspired by 'forests, herbs, flowers and earth' colours), it would make a subtle background for sashiko and mix well with fabrics for a boro inspired piece. The colour is a blend of very subtle autumnal russet leaf colours.

The weave is loose enough to easily stitch sashiko with fine, medium or thick sashiko threads. Ideal for wearables, boro style patchwork, or any project where a subtle plaid would look good.
