Designed by Kaffe Fassett for the KFC (Kaffe Fassett Collective,) produced by Free Spirit fabrics, 'Tiddlywinks' is a fun dot and checkerboard design that invites many different uses in patchwork, including fussy cutting for a dotty sashing stripe. This is the dark colourway, my favourite, with many colours including blues, purples, greens, and red.
 
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
