Medium 6-ply mercerised sashiko thread 40m skein, shade #20 black, Daruma brand by Yokota. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching.  Use doubled for a bolder effect. Can also be used for big stitch quilting.
 
This mercerised thread is the same weight as the other 100m 6-ply sashiko thread I sell, but has a different colour range. By selecting between these ranges, you can many subtle colour combinations. This shade is also available in  40m fine sashiko thread, and 100m medium sashiko thread.

Because it is mercerised, it won't 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.

Sashiko needles - may be used with any of the sashiko needles I sell.
