Medium mercerised sashiko thread 100m skein, shade #153 dark brown/white. This subtle shading effect is known as 'bokashi' in Japanese. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching. May be used double or singly. Stitched on a brown background, this thread will make your sashiko seem to blend in and out of the fabric beautifully!
Please note - this mercerised thread feels slightly smoother and thinner than the non-mercerised 20m sashiko thread. It is less likely to 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
Ideal with for my printed sashiko panels.
Sashiko needles - use either Olympus Thread Mfg. Co.sashiko needles 2 pack or 4 pack.
