NB - The skein bands are changing colour from dark blue to the new white design, but it is still the same thread!
Medium mercerised sashiko thread 100m skein, shade #174 'retro flame' - shading through deep red, orange, purple and tan, a colour combination that reminds me of retro 70s style. The colours look quite wild on the skein but much more subtle when stitched! Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching. May be used double or singly.
Please note - this mercerised thread feels slightly smoother and thinner than the non-mercerised 20m sashiko thread. It is less likely to 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
Ideal with for my printed sashiko panels.
Sashiko needles - use either Olympus Thread Mfg. Co.sashiko needles 2 pack or 4 pack.
