Medium mercerised sashiko thread 100m skein, shade #114 brown. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching. The colour is very similar to the brown produced from persimmon natural dyes. May be used double or singly.
The thread band has recently changed from dark blue (second photo) to white, but it is still the same thread!
Please note - this mercerised thread feels slightly smoother and thinner than the non-mercerised 20m sashiko thread. It is less likely to 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
Ideal with for my printed sashiko panels.
Sashiko needles - use either Olympus Thread Mfg. Co.sashiko needles 2 pack or 4 pack.
