  • Endlessly inspired by plants, artist Liz St. Andre brings the outdoors in with her botanical artwork. Liz starts with collecting plant materials from her garden and the forest surrounding her Pacific Northwest studio. Gathering flowers, fallen branches and stems, and foraging for interesting shapes and textures sparks the beginning of every new painting and printmaking session. Liz transforms these natural materials using an antique photographic process known as Cyanotype and a modern printmaking approach with a Gelliplate. Her unique approach combining these techniques results in stunning compositions. Every piece is a collaboration filled with surprises from Mother Nature.
