A 35 x 50cm (13 3/4 x 19 5/8in) precut of Sakizome Momen plaid - a 100% cotton fabric from Olympus Thread Mfg. Co., excellent for sashiko, patchwork, bag making and other projects. It is made to look like old cloth, with subtle colours (the range is inspired by 'forests, herbs, flowers and earth' colours), and feels like a soft, handwoven cotton. #SC018 is a black brown plaid fabric, perfect for taupe projects. 'Forests, herbs, flowers, earth colours' are the inspirations for these natural shades. Easy to stitch for sashiko, with a weight similar to Kofu Tsumugi yarn dyed cotton.

The weave is loose enough to easily stitch sashiko with fine, medium or thick sashiko threads. Ideal for taupe projects, wearables, boro style patchwork, or any project where an antique look is desired.
