One of my four favourite prints from the 'Paradise Blooms' collection by Kirsten Katz for FreeSpirit Fabrics, 'Mini Wildflowers' (first photo) is a colourful, tiny, multicoloured, slightly retro print that I thought would make a nice sashiko coordinate, and be small enough for some dolls house furnishings, as well as being a lovely patchwork print or dressmaking detail. The background is a deep blue. Photos 2 to 4 show the other prints I have from this collection.
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, these fabrics make an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
111cm (44in) wide.
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '2' for 1 metre, '3' for 1.5m etc.
