Rugged nature inspired these watercolour-like designs by Deborah Edwards and Melanie Samra for Northcott. This abstract tree coordinate (first photo) in grey is part of a new range that features deer in the forest and beautiful woodland textures. Although inspired by Canadian landscapes, it reminds me very much of the landscape of the Scottish Highlands. The digitally printed patchwork fabrics really show off their distinctive watercolour style beautifully, and would look superb in a patchwork with the other fabrics and panels in the collection (photos 2 - 9), to coordinate with sashiko, or as a blender for other projects. Digitally printed.
Sold by the half metre, so order '1' for 1/2m, '2' for 1m etc.
