This cute Christmas Advent Calendar panel (first photo) by Susan Wheeler Design for Nutex UK makes up very simply by tucking and stitching into a quick and easy pocket style advent calendar, where every pocket can be filled with a small gift or treat. Each of the 24 numbered pockets has a different cut seasonal flora or fauna, against a snowy sky, with a Christmas scene across the top.

Finished pockets are approx. 6.5cm tall and 8cm wide. Fold lines are marked up the sides of the panel. There are some extra motifs printed up the side as well, that could be cut out and appliqued onto other items to coordinate with the calendar. The second photo shows how the panel looks when made up, with a fabric border added.

This is a very simple and quick project to make up, suitable for all skill levels.
