From Ruby Star Society's  'Warp and Weft - Ooh Lukcy Lucky' wovens for Moda, 'Flicker' in soft black and multi (first photo) is the name of this unusual weave, designed by Alexia Marcelle Abegg. It is very reminiscent of the textured fabrics once popular for kimono, and has colourful little fluffy warp tufts woven into the fabric, adding gorgeous little touches of colour.

This listing is for half metre of Flicker - multiples will be sent as one piece of fabric.

Limited stock - and I can't reorder these, because they were the last the wholesaler could get for me.

Photos 4 - 7 show the other weaves I have from this collection.

These are not Japanese fabrics, but are typical good quality from Moda, with interesting weaves, and they remind me of late C20th wool kimono fabrics very much! This one would be excellent to include in a piece of boro inspired stitching, among other things, as a coordiante for a colourful sashiko project, to add depth of colour to patchwork, and make unique wearables.

NB - this fabric is sold by the half metre, so please order '1' for 1/2m, '2' for 1m etc.

110cm (43in) wide approx.

There may be 3 - 5% shrinkage, so please preshrink.

Cool wash.
