This 'Boro Wovens' fabric by Moda is soft, thick fabric with a low thread count and a handwoven look. The slightly slubbed yarn is dyed before weaving and the fabric has a deep, indigo blue colour warp (it is not a natural indigo) and a cream weft, which give it a subtle, mottled appearance. Ideal for including in boro inspired projects or anywhere a chunky look is required. Moda seem to call this fabric 'canvas', but it is not at all stiff, has a soft drape and handle, which would be lovely for clothing. It will fray very easily, so it looks great for boro!
