Designed by Kaffe Fassett for the KFC (Kaffe Fassett Collective,) produced by Free Spirit fabrics, 'Echo Stripe' is a strong irregular printed stripe design, in the red colourway with reds and pinks, accented with purple and green. It is a bold coordinate that would work well with many patchwork prints, as well as other fabrics from the KFC, and could be fussy cut for interesting borders and other effects.
 
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric would be a fun coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
