From 'L'Heure Bleue*' (the blue hour) designed by Estè MacLeod for FreeSpirit, 'Belle' (beautiful - first photo) is a delightful abstract floral pattern in shades of baby blue, turquoise, teal and deep sea greens.
The other photos show the other eight prints from this cool retro collection. I loved these prints as soon as I saw the samples months ago, and have been looking forward to their arrival.
*What is 'L'heure Bleue'? The blue hour is the period of twilight (in the morning or evening, around the nautical stage) when the sun is quite deep below horizon level and the remaining sunlight takes on a blue shade. It makes a refreshing feeling visually to the heat of the day.
Quantities are limited, and I can't reorder.
Perfect for a beautiful, cool summer patchwork. Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate your sashiko stitching for a retro modern look and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
111cm (44in) wide.
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '2' for 1 metre, '3' for 1.5m etc.
