This 'Circling Winter Birch' from the Winter Flurries collection by Holly Taylor for Moda would make an idea coordinate with any of the greige (natural unbleached) cotton/linen blend hanafukin sashiko sampler panels, or to include in a taupe project. It would also look great with the green or red Christmas sashiko samplers. Lots of possiblities!  Although it is a Christmas fabric, it isn't obviously so, and could be used all year.
