A gorgeous collection of fabrics inspired by the embroideries of Morris and Co, this 20 fat quarter pre cut fat quarter bundle is something a bit special! I have only four of these lovely bundles, and can't reorder them.
Printed on patchwork weight cotton, these fabrics make an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
At the moment William Morris designs are hugely popular in Japan - my friends at Yuza Sashiko Guild have been interpreting some of these patterns in sashiko!
