From just £13 for a 50 x 70cm piece, this gorgeous 20 count cotton and modal blend fabric, 'Bellana', is a top quality evenweave from Zweigart, 140cm wide. With 2% metallic thread sparkle, it will look stunning for Christmas and New Year themed kogin pieces, or anywhere you want a touch of gold. It is ideal for kogin and other counted embroidery techniques.
I used the plain red version it for one of my coasters in 'The Ultimate Kogin Collection', as shown in the last photo, and it was lovely to stitch. The big bonus of this fabric is that the 20 count weave covers just as well with ordinary 6-strand embroidery cotton as with the 6-strand kogin thread! So you can use up 6-strand embroidery cotton you may already have in your stash. I used a hand dyed 6-strand cotton for my coaster.
It is 140cm wide, making 'Bellana' great value for money for stitching kogin.

Handwash. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.
Tip - zigzag or oversew the edges of the fabric before starting to stitch, to prevent fraying.
