Fine 4-ply mercerised sashiko thread 170m skein, shade #17 lapis blue, Daruma brand by Yokota. Suitable for all your sashiko and boro stitching. Use doubled for a bolder effect. Also excellent for big stitch quilting.
This big value mercerised thread is the same weight as the 40m 4-ply Daruma sashiko thread and 370m 4-ply fine sashiko thread I sell, but has a different colour range. By selecting between these ranges, you can many subtle colour combinations. This shade is also available in 40m fine sashiko thread, 40m medium sashiko thread, and 100m medium sashiko thread.
Because it is mercerised, it won't 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
Sashiko needles - may be used with any of the sashiko needles I sell, including the smallest size from the Clover 8 sashiko needle packs.
