William Morris and Morris & Co. fabric designs are timeless - more popular now than when they were first released! This selection has been recoloured in Christmas shades, so you can have a festive look to your Morris & Co. favourites.

This listing is for 'Yew and Aril' in the berry colourway, a subtle blender print with little sprigs of yew. It is also available in gold.

Other photos show some more of this collection I have in stock. The scale of these FreeSpirit versions of these classic patterns is much smaller than when they were first released over 100 years ago, scaled down for patchwork, so they have a much more delicate effect.

Printed on patchwork weight cotton, these fabrics make an ideal coordinate for my sashiko panels, and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.

At the moment William Morris designs are hugely popular in Japan - my friends at Yuza Sashiko Guild have been interpreting some of these patterns in sashiko!
