From 'Colori' designed by Estè MacLeod for FreeSpirit, 'Talipa' is a colourful retro abstract print.
Esté writes - 'Colour is my jam, it is a bountiful source of inspiration and catalyst for creativity... Bold and bright, organic and geometric shapes combined with botanical and floral shapes and layered to create joyful and uplifting designs. Fish and birds make their appearance in some of the designs as well!'
Quantities are limited, and I can't reorder.
Perfect for a beautiful spring or summer patchwork, and many of these prints work well with Esté's previous collection, 'L'Heure Bleu'. Printed on patchwork weight cotton, this fabric makes an ideal coordinate your sashiko stitching for a retro modern look and the colours can be matched from my extensive range of sashiko threads. Free Spirit fabrics are printed on a 68 count cotton rather than the 60 count used for many other brands, meaning they are slightly finer than many patchwork fabrics and are also suitable for making clothing.
111cm (44in) wide.
100% cotton
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '2' for 1 metre, '3' for 1.5m etc.
