Olympus Thread Mfg. Co. sashiko needles, specially made for sashiko stitching. These sharp, strong needles won't bend as you pleat your fabric onto them (unlike most embroidery needles). The longer needles help keep straight lines straight and you can load up lots of stitches at once - perfect for hitomezashi (one stitch sashiko). The shorter needles are excellent for curved lines and patterns that change direction a lot.
