This beautifully drawn floral print is from the Morning Latte collection by Sandy Gervais for Riley Blake. I love the retro vibe, and think it would make a great coordinate to 'frame' sashiko panels like Four Seasons and Good News, if you are making cushions, as well as for patchwork, dressmaking and other projects. Although the colours aren't exactly the same, it looks lovely with fabrics like those from Sandy's other recent collection, The Awe of Autumn. If you want that seventies scrapbag look in your quilts (and I do, for some upcoming projects), this would be perfect. Hope you love it as much as I do!
