Tim Holtz's fabrics have a wonderfully 'grungy', distressed appearance, making them a great choice for contemporary boro inspired stitching, as well as patchwork, quilting, wearables etc. and many of them are excellent additions to a  'taupe' palette. "From Camden', from the 'Foundations' collection is a faded floral with shadows of stencilled text over the top - it may look faded and discoloured, but that's all in the print design!
