This fabulous collection sits somewhere between Japanese and nineteenth century calico prints in design and colour, and would blend wonderfully with fabrics from either genre. 'Gingko Spot' is the print shown in the first two photos. A perfect coordinate for sashiko projects, as well as for patchwork and dressmaking, and an excellent addition to your fabric stash. The stunning prints reflect the influence of Japanese design on the famous Liberty store in London, renowned internationally for their top quality fabrics.

'Popping up like fluttering fans, the playfully distinct Gingko leaves lend an air of refinement and sophistication to this minimalist pattern. Hand-painted in the Liberty Design Studio, these timeless motifs create an aesthetic that is both classic and contemporary, while the tiny background spots provide an extra layer or colour and detail.'
