Robert Kaufman Fabrics have been releasing fabrics in their 'Imperial Collection' range for many years, but this spring's offering is truly exceptional. 'Graceful Cranes' has twenty five different fabrics, with several colour variations on the prints. These colourways have a refined beauty, plus lots of gold metallic of course. Collection includes two exquisite panels, ideal for quilt or wallhanging centres. Perfect for patchwork, sashiko coordinates, crafting, lightweight home dec etc - anywhere you want the look of antique Japanese fabrics but in a washable cotton print.
This listing is for 'Cherry Blossoms' in the cream and pink colourway (first photo). Eleven more prints from the collection are shown in the other photos - with the other thirteen available to view on my other Robert Kaufman listings, plus two stunning 24 x 44in (60 x 112cm approx) panels.
I used a lot of these kinds of prints in my books 'Japanese Quilt Blocks to Mix and Match' and 'Japanese Quilt Inspirations', and they aren't so easy to find at the moment, so I'm always pleased when I spot a new collection coming up. Robert Kaufman's fabrics are superb quality and lovely to work with.
100% cotton.
44in wide (112cm approx.)
NB - sold by the half metre, so order '1' for a half metre, '2' for one metre, '3' for one and a half etc.
