This mercerised thread is the same weight as the other 40m and 100m 6-ply sashiko thread I sell, but has a different colour range. By selecting between these ranges, you can many subtle colour combinations. This shade is also available in 40m and 170m fine sashiko thread, so you can vary the thickness for your project while keeping to exactly the same colour.
Because it is mercerised, it won't 'shred' or go slightly fluffy when stitching.
