Back in stock in beautiful teal blue! I would describe this colour as a light turquoise. The printed stitch marks are silver, so the contrast is not as strong as with the red and indigo blue versions of this panel, so I recommend good lighting when stitching this panel. Limited quantities.
This panel is prepacked by QH textiles, unlike the red and green versions of this panel, which are cut from the bolt, so it is a little more expensive.
This stunning new large sashiko Christmas panel from QH Textiles will help your bring a unique touch to your Christmas decor this year! Printed in silver on a heavier weight cotton that's easy to stitch (similar to some of the Olympus kit fabrics), the tree has lots of detail with the pine 'needles' done as two parallel lines of sashiko stitch (stitch out from the branch and back in). The side panel has a great assortment of decorations to stitch too, which can be made up double sided in sashiko (when there will be 21 decorations) or backed with another fabric for twice that number, either stuffed with a little wadding for a 3D effect or made up flat. I'm going to decorate my tree with buttons so I can attach the decorations with loops of thread, and the green colour is so lovely, I've decided to use this colour to stitch my first sample. The green is a very natural shade of medium leaf green (the photo looks very accurate for colour on my screen).
Total panel size is 30 3/4"(77cm) wide x 43/44" (110cm) high, printed across the width - tree panel section is 20 1/2in (52cm) wide.

Stitching suggestions for the panel -
There are so many possibilities for these panels. The teal blue fabric would show the tree up well in a darker shade of green, or grey, or white or cream, or perhaps a shaded green. Turquoise sashiko thread would look fabulous for the pine needles! Both dark and light coloured sashiko threads will show up very well on this fabric.
A striped cotton fabric would look great for a simple border, or 'frame' it with a Christmas print.

Printed with silver water-soluble ink - marks wash out. Because the background fabric colour is quite light, the marks are not so prominent as with the darker versions of this panel. Make sure you have good lighting to stitch.
