The colours of hydrangeas, traditionally an early summer flower in Japan which heralds the rainy season, inspired this collection of colours which I've called 'ajisai', the Japanese name for the flower. As there are so many lovely varieties of hydrangea and I couldn't choose just one, there are several different collections. This collection includes one 18m skein each of shades #655, #136, #61 (varigated), #166, #163, #733, #251, #212 and #21 (varigated)- 9 skeins for the price of 8! #655 is a deep aubergine shade which may look darker on some screens. This matte six strand kogin thread can be split and recombined. Also suitable for other embroidery techniques.

NB - international shipping* is temporarily disabled. New shipping rates by weight will be coming soon!
*EU shipping can only resume when the EU simplifies its VAT regulations on mail orders. Please complain to your MEP to try to change the regs for small non EU businesses! We can't calculate, charge and remit the different amounts of VAT to all 27 EU countries four times a year, when we are one person businesses. It is too much admin and too expensive to employ an EU based agent as currently required.
